Art Lessons
The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts is worth the drive just for aesthetic reasons, as it sits in the lovely Hagerstown City Park. They offer a variety of art classes for children, for which you can register by clicking here. Class prices are discounted for members.
Additionally, WCMFA offers a FREE Saturday morning youth program (10am – 11:30am each Saturday September through May, for children ages 6 – 12). Sign-ups are monthly and topics vary. To register, call the museum at 301-739-5727. Museum members are given preference and can register during the first two weeks of the month for the following month’s classes. Non-members can register thereafter.
